One of the most experienced MSK ultrasound instructors in the country — scanning since 2008, teaching physicians since 2009, and still teaching roughly 8 to 10 diagnostic and interventional courses a year, from introductory anatomy to advanced joint and spine injection technique.

Research focus

PRP, BMAC & MSK ultrasound.

Evidence matters. His clinical and teaching work examines real-world outcomes alongside controlled evidence, with attention to platelet dose, preparation and the indication actually being treated.

PRP: dose and characterization. Physicians are taught to read randomized trials, systematic reviews, meta-analyses and registry data in context — including the platelet dose and preparation used in each study. That single habit is what stops all PRP preparations from being treated as clinically equivalent.

Bone marrow and BMAC technique. The Technique Matters work connects aspiration technique with cellular yield, and supports a broader emphasis on the procedural variables that change the biologic product delivered to the patient.

Ultrasound: diagnosis before injection. The ultrasound teaching emphasizes anatomy, diagnosis and precise needle guidance as part of one sequence: identify the relevant pain generator first, then decide whether an image-guided intervention is appropriate at all.
